Cool Water Poem by Marilyn Lott

Cool Water

Rating: 5.0

A tall cool glass of water
Is the perfect thing to drink
When you are very thirsty
Directly from the kitchen sink

Or a refreshing little sip
Of the icy cold refreshment
From at the rocky rivers edge
Not a bit of nasty sediment

A frosty drink of water
On a sun-parched afternoon
You can drink from early morning
‘Til you see the yellow moon

You can freeze it to make ice
You can crunch it afterward
And can add flavor the make cycles
Or any icy thing you’ve heard

But nothing is more refreshing
Than a dunk in the ocean too
Why you can take your entire family
What really works for you

So it’s an all around great thing
For your mother son or daughter
The sweetest purest liquid is...
A wonderful glass of cool water!
