Come Again Poem by Amit Mathur

Come Again

withstanding longings to reclaim childhood days
and agonies of unfulfilled desires
having sighs of yesteryears and days gone by
i imagine you sitting at my bedside
pensive yet serene, distressed yet unruffled
i imagine you being my pole star and showing me the way
darkness is creeping in my life
and i am losing my bearings completely.
i long for your unsung songs and your unheard voice
i long for your company and your silent smile
I want you to come back to my life again - to again lose you
come angel come again
