Clouds Poem by Meenakshi Hariharan

Clouds

I travel, travel all over the world
from oceans to the peaks and more.
I am light and mostly swirled,
but when I am heavy I pour.

I am responsible for the rains,
and the brimming river,
the puddles, and the overflowing lanes,
and sometimes make people shiver.

I produce tremendous heat, and light,
and sound which frightens most people around.
Sometimes I am grey and sometimes bright,
and give shade to people on ground.

You cannot reach me,
but I can be felt and sensed.
There are angels around me,
who always keep me cleansed.
