Christmas Time Poem by Duane Brown

Christmas Time

Rating: 5.0

Christmas bells and sleigh bells ring;
All the merry children sing
Their carols of joy
In honor of the infant boy.
The world springs up to welcome in
The feast of Christmas; to begin
The joyful feasting, and prepare
The celebrations everywhere.
Homeward the evergreen is borne,
And readied for the Christmas morn.
Its boughs with ornaments are hung;
Its leaves with ribboned lights are strung;
And tinseled bands of silvery snow
Reflect their softly colored glow.
While merry feasters, glad to be
ringed around the Christmas tree,
Sing with joyful melody.
