Poem - China Girl

She is a gentle lady of the East,
Yet there burns a fire within.
A consuming flame that lights the way,
To the morning of a new enlightened day.
A heart that loves the traditional ways,
But understands the need for change.
The future is for those that know,
That their destiny is in their own hands.
