Cerulean Poem by William Brooks

Cerulean

I have found the meaning for life
Laying just below the surface,
Hidden in your eyes.
I see your face shine through the haze.

No more am I alone.
I never want to let you go.
I've waited a life time for this one moment,
The time when I show you how I feel.

Frozen in a blue mist of time
With you lips pushed against mine,
I feel so strong, so alive.

No more worries
Just you and me
Loving life and each other
Nothing can bring us down.

Put your hand in mine,
I swear we'll sore high.
High into the night sky
Above the monsters below.

That night with you by my side,
The night when my evil finally died,
Was the happiest I've been in awhile.
Looking at your face alit by the cerulean light.
