Carried Away Poem by Arlene Faith Kortright

Carried Away

We're like dandelion seeds floating on the air
Like tiny ballerina's everywhere
Dancing to the Summer's Song
Never caring where we may belong
Free as the wind that carries us away
Unaware that we will bloom someday
Then, in all our sunny splendor,
Someday, ourselves, we will render
And put on a marvelous display
As our own tiny dancers get carried away
