California Poem by Ana Monnar

California

California's crashing waves
Foaming water flowing in the caves
Hovering beachcombers on their surfboards
Balancing for the big reward
Gourmet foods, phenomenal sights
Reaching out for phenomenal flights
Cities named after Saints and Angels
Los Angeles, Santa Monica,
Santa Barbara, Santa Ana,
San Francisco, San Diego, San Rafael,
San Jose, Santa Maria, just to mention a few
After a long day, you will appreciate the stew
Diversity in cultures
Just stay away from the vultures
Assortment in geographical features
Watching exciting parades from the bleachers
Experience and explore the exquisiteness
Getting away from the daily stress
