I took a chance.
I took a shot.
You think im bullet proof.
But im not.

You dont know the pain.
That I seem to feel.
The sorrows and scars.
That are all too real.

You think its just a game.
A show I put on.
You think its a joke.
But your all wrong.

No one knows the truth.
Because no on really sees.
They think its all an act.
But its happening to me.

Im not that great an actress.
I cant fake this much pain.
Im not pro at pretending.
To me its not a game.

I took a shot at love.
And a chance to call you mine.
You think saying no.
Will make everything fine.

You say I'll move on.
That I'll take another shot.
You think Im bullet proof.
But im not.
