Bring Me Home Poem by Dawn Michelle

Bring Me Home

Rating: 5.0

And the world screams for something
Greater than what they can know
What will come of all the screaming
And those who are begging to die?
Oh, but our hope will not lie
Bring me home
Where the screams and the begging
Are inaudible sounds
Bring me home
Where those who are hurting
and the lost are all found
But until then I’ll wait
And sing my lonely song
Bring me home
