Blue Lines Poem by Daniel Hooks

Blue Lines

Rating: 5.0

At the doorway
we see the signs,
little blue lines
running this way and that
zig zagging along the interwoven paths
we travel on.
Some might say they show life's mystery
the mystery of the fates
where we've been and where we are going
we live in the cloud of unknowing
not knowing where we will be tommorow
the joy, the sorrow we will face
the blue lines pick up pace
to drag us on
to places far beyond what we can see
blue lines between you
and blue lines between me.

Those blue lines continue to weave in and out during lifes path, but the final blue line won't be our last. Excellent write Daniel, I like it very much--Melvina--
