Blind Poem by Clarence Thomas

Blind

Rating: 4.3

So badly I needed you now,
But you couldn’t see somehow.
In you I put all of my hope,
To you I clung like a rope.

You looked right at me, and I at you,
Yet you couldn’t see what I was about to do.
I guess the darkness was so thick in me,
That somehow, you just couldn’t see.

Never before had I been so scared,
But I guess that no one really cared.
Unknowingly you too abandoned me,
And at last, I had nowhere left to flee.

But it doesn’t matter anymore,
I went to my room and I closed the door,
As I say one quick last goodbye
And wait for someone to find me where I lie.
