Blame It On The Rain Poem by John W. McEwers

Blame It On The Rain

Halelujia!

I just had that orange liqueur from the mini bar
that ain't so mini
but so expensive
and I'll be
hammed
if I didn't see you up on this same floor
like we had to end our night next to each other
like you are my ex wife
that stupid kate
off in france I guess
or maybe dead
and if you feel a few tears
blame it on the rain
because I'll just look at you
like you crazy homie.
