Billy Poem by Viola Grey

Billy

Rating: 4.2

Traces of your teeth
stain white skin,
your mouth
sweet as summer's fruit
on a winters day.
Warm, clean blood
pulses to your lips
tearing gently,
filling slowly
this life into you.
Sustain me - I plead -
I want your eyes
encased in my soul
so desolute
with hardened desire.
Love consumes us all...
a child alone,
a candy store
to a hungry heart.
