Beyond The Sea Poem by Fallen Pieces

Beyond The Sea

Rating: 5.0

The Sea
Whispering sonnets of a hidden world
collecting at my feet
Washing back, stripping my story
to the wonders beyond those waters
to those creatures within that world
Swirls of times lost within the sand
Singing lullabies of sorrows and laughs
Enrapturing my toes in wet blankets
of salt and foam
Imploring of my foreign soliloquy
Splashing back the waves of truths
Bringing back the days of youth
Such beauties lie within
that World Beyond the Sea

very soothing...i liked it...good imagery, almost as if the water is calming you by allowing you to remember tranquil times.
