Better Days Poem by Stevens Cadet

I used to be a used too
But never got used too
Letting the things that attract some be the only route I used too
Reach the goals to help my Mother
And allow my little sister to see the values of a women.
Dark days brought me stardom.
Father died but never did I mourn in,
All the responsibilities that quickly stormed in.
Never took excuses, I'm part in
The select few that let dreams form in
Reality while haters sleep.
Sending congratulations to my old coaches & danger receivers see
Who helped me be closer to what Stevie seen.
A dime & a dream, yet I lost it on the way
Cause no trust can take away any love you think you may
Have so I'm on path where I never hope for that
Funny how many I coulda stashed cause I keep um last
Yet other priorities I valued fast;
Don't wanna be known for what the Lord gave me
But for what I ceased in a door that only had a crease
That was enough to guarantee
Only what my birth giver foreseen.
Hoping that the Lord agrees,
All other opinions debris.
Coming with this poetry,
Got my heart fatigued.

When the pen becomes the key & every life trial through others C.C.'d
The intellect turned Earth Seas into my ink and now conscious thought is extinct
Because the second blink manifested reality from what I think
Keeping my mind in sync & closer to a link
Of being on a brink.... To nothing that I'm used too.
Look at what wondering does.
Everybody you knew saying damm look how you grew.
So it's rest in peace to yesterday.....
Cause I woke up to a better me
