Bang Poem by Andrew Evans

Bang

Rating: 5.0

BANG!
Rockets fly children cry, as shots are fired in the night sky.
The noise makes dogs bark, All the while a figure approaches in the Dark.
BANG!
Your Soul leaves your body, You know the truth but you reject it oddly
The reaper gives you his hand so he can guide your way, then the truth hits you like a car on the Freeway
BANG!
Your skin shivers as you walk with your guide, You quietly hold your sadness inside
You want to say goodbye to your family and friends, But the ghoul says your at your end
BANG!
He leaves you cause there’s work to be done, He walks away and whistles like his job is fun
You know your dead and all you can say is Dang, and all of this over one Loud
BANG!
