Another Life Poem by Melanie Weeks

Another Life

A living dream
Of another life,
Another name,
Another family,
And great that it may seem,
It may cut like a knife.
This other life should bring no shame.
A lucky duaghter,
A happy bride.
The special mother,
Who is gone for now,
Shall come back later.
She left by groub suiside
But murdered in spirit,
Years before.
She'll come back different
With another life

Melanie, I like this. You commented on some of my poems in the past so I wanted to come back again. Would you mind emailing me and telling me what the story behind this. Clearly there is much more here. Cordell
