And you taught me how to love

Yes you showed me how to care

Spelled forever with your touch

Yes you took care of my heart…



But all this time I was looking

All this time I was searching

All this time I kept on waiting….

Waiting for that someone…

Someone who’ll never come….



Girl, I missed your tender gaze

And your understanding smile

Every time I played the fool

You were there to keep things cool



And all this time I was looking

All this time I was hoping

Not knowing I was straying..

Straying from that someone..

Someone who’s always cared



Now you teach me how to cry

Now you’re bringing me much pain

Said that I can go on wasting…

That you’re done and through with waiting



And all this time you too are waiting…

All this time, praying and hoping…

That all this time I somehow see

Feel the love you have for me



But as long as you are leaving

I know that it’s too late for me

So I’ll just keep on my searching

For a love that all this time’s with me…
