All By Myself Poem by Asha Adeana

All By Myself

Rating: 4.8

I called you yesterday
We hanged out nothing new
We walked and talked
About stuff so stupid
We slapped each other
Had some laughs
I didn't want you to leave
But you did
I didn’t even know it that’s the sad thing
I sited there were you left me
On that bench by myself
I watched the people walk by and look at me weird
I thought you were coming back
But I thought wrong
I started walking back home
I took the long way
I walked in the middle of the road
Only so that you could see me
And stop me
But it never happened
I walked with my head down
Only cause I thought you loved me
But you left me there
I looked at you today
Ask why you left
All you had to say
Was nothing and walked right out of my life

Love is very hard to understand........at any age but especially at your age. Very nice poem. I liked the image of you walking down the center of the road in hopes that he would come back and stop you. Sincerely, Mary
