Across The Universe Poem by Dr. Harry Hamburger

Across The Universe

The universe goes on forever
beyond all time and space
worlds that cannot be counted
making Earth a little place

Higher worlds and lower worlds
all beyond our limited comprehension
they could pass right by
and pay us no attention

G-d that is and was
creating and destroying with Will
energy flowing into vacant space
and angels never standing still

Are we any more important
than single grain of sand
created by letters and words
when moves His fiery Hand

We are just a vessels
containing spark of the Flame
and when bodies pass away
become one with Holy Name
