A Thousand Years Poem by E.A. England

A Thousand Years

Rating: 4.0

A thousand years I swear it's been
Since I've worn this smile
And if I have to wait again
At least it's worth my while

A thousand years I've seen fly by
Since I've heard your laughter
Time slipped by against my will
And opened a new chapter

A thousand years I'll gladly wait
To meet with you again
As long as I can see your face
Every now and then
