Wonder is the nature tender is its beauty
Blunder we render by damaging its splendor
Limits are exceeded in extracting its resources
Future is at stake deprive not the generations

A new shame descended on our country known for ethics and morals
Never a day goes without a report of rape committed
A hue and cry of all sorts created by media on the heels
Of a crime reported calling for futile debates and discussions
...

Merits of light better understood
If one undergoes plights in darkness
Value of wealth better understood
If one undergoes miseries of poverty
...

Surface waters swirling fast
Deep waters remain calm
Materialistic world moving fast
Spiritual souls staying calm
...

Decades three and half gone by
The last flood of the river that is no more I recall
Till then the river called NEVA if not perennial
Flowed calmly eight to ten months every year

Hate the caterpillar
Adore the butterfly
Ask not for reasons
Appearance only matters
...

All that wither are ripe and old
All that bloom are fresh and new
All that gloom are sick and slew
Nothing is eternal except illusion

A cloudy evening with chilly winds
Went for a stroll I with my pal
Beneath the hills bordering our village
Climate was beautiful surroundings wonderful
