Skye started writing at the age of 16. She started off writing on a website called Scribd.com where 3 of her creative works have been featured by the website. She loves writing short stories and poems. She has a thing for writing beautiful tragedy. She sometimes dabbles with writing full length stories too. She has written stories under the names of Skyler Jayne, Skye Jayne and Skye J Cardoz. She also sometimes refers to herself in third person!)

Love Confuses Me

I get confused whether Love likes black shoes with white laces
or white shoes with black laces.
I can't remember whether Love's neck ache makes him nauseous..
or if I just confused Love for someone else.

When love has come in your life
as many times as mine has,
you forget to draw the boundary
and understand that there were two different Loves
that walked in your life.
and stole your heart.
And gave you a list of likes and dislikes
that you are struggling to remember.

I remember strongly that Love used to love blue
and like me wearing baby pink.
But I don't know what colour Love prefers now.
But I do know that he likes seeing me in red
so I guess I'm not that bad, huh?

And maybe I'm being an absolute witch by comparing notes,
by trying to filter between salt and pepper in a mixed up pile.

But what do I do?
Love has always been tall.
Love has always had a laugh
and made me laugh.
And Love has always been beautiful!

But I guess there's one thing they do not have in common.
Love is kind. Love is generous.
Love actually loves to talk to me in poetry
and Love cannot stop looking at me as if I'm
the only girl in the universe.
I am his universe.

But Love still confuses me.
