I wish to rest on the clouds Their cushion feeling against my body Looking down at the small people Poppy seeds on a muffin
Write a poem to grandma for Christmas, Show her all your skills. Make her believe she didn’t waste her money When she bought those cancer pills.
Facing a Blank Page
My pen touching this page Is a bursting heart of relief. After being bottled down for so long
sitting in class...
That shirt drives me wild It sets me on fire. You wouldn't believe me, You'd call me a liar.

I wish to rest on the clouds
Their cushion feeling against my body
Looking down at the small people
Poppy seeds on a muffin
It will be quiet up in the sky
The occasional bird flying
Just high enough for me to see
On these clouds I will sleep
I will collect my thoughts
Thinking about the bare necessities in life
That’s all I need to be with the clouds
