Painted Horse

The tone of the bell I feel deep inside
The countdown begins as now I will ride
Tis my first big comp im scared but calm
My painted horse will do me no harm

We come to the first tis 1 meter tall
Counting my stride im clear no fall
Painted horse your doing us proud
Nine fences jump applause by crowd

The triple the oxer and now to the wall
Oh Painted one im sorry we fall
Dust settles in this grand arena
Rise from the ground the end of my ride
You look to see a tear in my eye

I reach out for your rein
On bowing your head we walk no shame
That lonely arena walk I will not forget
For I rode with you the painted one
That makes me proud
