Lost Soul

Lying in my bed at night the sounds of the night kept me awake, Wondering about each one and their origination, My mind wanders for curiosity's sake, and that's when those sounds take over my imagination. Though common sense tells me nothing is there, I still search for another world, but to start I know not where. Never ending faces haunt me in the night, one moment they're there, the next they are out of sight. I will be known as one of the world's lost souls, and I will walk the earth until the bell tolls. When the time comes for me to rest, I will be known, no more, no less. ~Sharonrose Zane-Neu
