Shadow Vanity Poems
Sitting in the dark, she hears a voice calling to her. *Shadow... Shadow, Come away from the edge. It's not safe. I don't want you to fall. It's too soon for you to leave the earth. Put down the knife Shadow Don't cause yourself any more pain. It's not worth it. Life will get better, that I promise you. I know that I'm no longer with you but life will go on. As you stop I walk up behind you and hold you close, whispering softly, 'It's okay to let me go. I know you miss me but it's time for me to leave this earth..I need to move on.' A tear rolls down your cheek knowing that I'm right. As your heart starts to let me go I start to fade. I give you a tight hug and whisper once more, 'I

Her Tears Fall No More
A single tear hits the floor as she looks at the knife that use to spread her feelings around. Days go by and I sit here and wonder why I feel so alone. Even in a room full of twenty people I can still feel invisible. People walk past me in the halls without even a side ways glance. or the smallest hint of a smile. I feel so terribly alone these days. Without you by my side to say that everything will be okay. It use to be that I could stand in a room with a hundred or more people and with one smile at me you could silence that entire room.
Keeping The Shadows At Bay
Hello, For those of you who don't know me, my name is Shadow Vanity. My poetry can be very dark. I let my feelings flow, much like I'm doing now. My poems are little snip-its of who I am. In the end we all end up in the same place. I do not believe in a heaven or a hell. I believe that we all one day will wander the earth as spirits.
Melody, My little sister so sweet and kind... you've grown up and seem to have left something behind... upon growing up there is one thing you need to hear, I love you still and always will. Mother looks up at the moon and lets out a low resounding howl letting her mate know where they are, then the pups join in with the haunting choirs.
A soft sigh of defeat resounds threw the room as she slowly bleeds out. She thinks to her self. I should be use to this pain. It's not like this is the first time I've been hurt like this. A dull throbbing sensation spreads threw out her entire body. Looking at herself her hands tremble with an intensity. Looking at her body she would look fine....
From day one she trusted him, They were the best of friends. Then one summer he saved her life. They fell in love... or so she thought. With three little words, he had her heart in his grasp. He told her he loved her then took it back. He said he loved her but he said it to attack. She sits in her room at night and cries, she looks at her knife but picks up a pen insted. She scribbles a quick good-bye letter then picks up her knife, a lighter, and her mp3 player.
Contemplation Of A Dark Thing
