Elegy Of Dream

To the one who knows me…

I was caught in your eye by fear,
A fear that never leaves,
Since the night you summoned me,
You forever haunt my dreams

We climbed to the edge of reality
For a world that’s yours and mine
We fled this horrid mortality
And in time… we’ll meet again

I see the sun fall one more time,
I hope we can leave it all behind
When it’s dead to me
When I cannot see,
From the dark and empty halls,
From the scorched and blackened walls,
From the edges and holes in reality
One day, you’ll come for me
