Sarah Mawed Poems

In the kingdom of pain
Sadness gets the crown
And sorrow wears the gown
Emotions hard to share
...

Pride and prejudice two simple words
Yet assembling colossal records
There he was filled with arrogance
Handsome, rich, living in bitterness
...

There’s a grieve that can’t be spoken
There’re people who are dead and gone
In the middle of tragedy I came
With a deep silent pain
...

Kingdom Of Pain

In the kingdom of pain
Sadness gets the crown
And sorrow wears the gown
Emotions hard to share
And breath fails to inhale
Tears down as a bridal veil
Shadowing the face
With a shy smile afraid to be
Chased by the past of memories

Behind every sigh there's a tale
Millions and millions to impale
Endless joy of strain
Lies in the kingdom of pain
Celebrates its melancholy
And embrace its mourning

In some paradoxical way
Sympathy gives its hand
To envelop unhealed injury
To ease the years of misery
To twist the truth with lie
In tremendous fantasy

In the kingdom of pain
Seasons are all the same
Two endless though
Where flowers never grow
It's autumn and fall
No night or day
Only darkness; it's grey

In the kingdom of pain
Silence is the only speaker
Silence shouts and cries
Silence lives and dies
Silence grieves and woes
Silence keeps silent

In the kingdom of pain
She draws her own dreams
A very splendid world
Beautifully curved
No one there
Only herself, she and her!
