Its not the sagging skin that scares me,

nor the deepening wrinkles,

nor the graying hair or the little sunspots on my face..

What is it that I long for?

What is it I seek?

Two lonely souls lost in the world

A smile exchanged, A shy word
...

That night I was on my own

riding the train
...

My friend, koel is back with her summer songs...
Perched outside my window she urges me to sing along!
She cocks her head and looks at me...
As if, saying come on! Why won't you sing with me?
...

I look at you
my darling
everyday with wonder anew
is it possible
...

sometimes concern is misunderstood

sometimes friendship is dishonored
...

In the darkness of the night, I look with confusion at my hennaed hands..

The deep red signifies..
...

What is it that you've come to do
Where do you intend to go
you.. in a Blue suit, Black tie
