Madness

I lost my heart, HE lost his mind
I am nonpareil, oft known as a fair maiden
Perchance HE has gaze on another wench
Perchance I have no gaze at all
For all I want is my fathers acceptance

The more he draws close to me
The farther apart I am with HE
HE proclaims I'm nothing more then a puppet,
I've foolishly been played by the fool himself
N'er shall I forswear my dear father

Fie on the drunkard, Fie on the blossom
that bloomed our love,
Fie on the time that consumed our Hate
Fie on ME
Verily, I have become a small blaze
that has yet set on anything or anyone
