'What are we leaping to? '
Sugar, I haven't the faintest idea.
I don't much care.
As long as I'm leaping with you, I am content to land where I may.
...

I am more than this.
Yes, I have a learning disability- but I can hear a song once or twice and sing it back to you.
I am more than this.
The people who were supposed to care for me most had child services called on them before I could hold my head up- but I have learned to nurture.
...

Was there ever a time when you were happy?
Were all midnights bleak and dreary?
What weighed so upon your soul?
Perhaps the world will never know.

Leaping

'What are we leaping to? '
Sugar, I haven't the faintest idea.
I don't much care.
As long as I'm leaping with you, I am content to land where I may.
Maybe we're leaping into Sakura in Tokyo.
Maybe we are leaping to something neither of us understand, and we can see the end before it comes.
Perhaps I am only leaping to conclusions and you were never interested.
The truth is I have no idea.
All I know is I want you to hold my hand and leap with me, Sugar, for the falling or the flying.
