2.

A blot of ink
A fountain pen
Emptied
To be filled again
...

Awake at night
I dream of day
Recall review
Rewind replay
...

I came upon
A dull machine
it read 'the world'
In blue and green
...

I march to the beat
Of a different tune
The second footstep
On the moon
...

They say beauty's
Judged by its beholder
And that it fades
As we get older

The Shedding Of Winter

Outward, upward,
Inward, down,
A mirror image
Upside down

Roots to branches
And back again
Pathways tracing
To dead ends

A rush of wind
A silver screen
Sunlight in
A sea of green

Outward upward
Inward down
Made to smile
Forced to frown

Hands and fingers
Blood and skin
Restless pumping
veins within

A rush of breath
The heart's desire
Burns within
Eternal fire

Soil water
Sun and snow
Each will reap
What it has sown

Joy and laughter
Sadness sorrow
Today shapes
What comes tomorrow

The shedding of winter
The coming of spring
Now is the time
To change everything
