Runni McDaniel Poems

If I cut my wrists and let myself bleed to death,
Would anyone cry over me?
If I shot myself,
Would anyone care?
...

Roses have thorns
They are sharp but as stare at the rose
You never notice them scaling the stems
The beauty enchants you deeply
...

A crystal rose
untouched for centuries
hardly seen in daylight
shimmers throughout nights
...

Patchwork eyes
searching deeply
yarn like hair
tangling across necks
...

Sealed lips
Drained of emotion
Shadowed eyes staring heavily
No signs of life
...

Magic is cast causing unrepairable damage
inside and out
The battle continues on between the two mages with spells flaring
The two worn from their usage of magic
...

The circling emotions that rip you apart,
when your friends begun fighting.
The pressure in the air squeezes you dry,
of heart and soul.
...

A melting clock, ticking and tocking away.
Every second a small shard falls from a broken mind.
The tears drip slowly, making the vision blurred;
Trembling inside while waiting for everything to fade.
...

Hazed visions entering my mind
Full of misery and fear,
constantly playing over and over
like a broken record
...

A courageous knight,
who battles for others and I
He, who wears carefree smiles,
warming other's hearts
...

Stars shine through the luminous night
The city life is dead silent
No crickets play their music
During this wonderous night
...

Love differs from a game
Games are easy and smooth
Love is difficult and rocky
Games are fake and end quickly
...

Fear could be the starter of death
Death envokes fear
Both team up to destroy dreams and lives
As life goes on death and fear multiplies

Would Anyone Miss Me?

If I cut my wrists and let myself bleed to death,
Would anyone cry over me?
If I shot myself,
Would anyone care?
If I was hit by a car and died instantly,
Would anyone be at my funeral?
If I died in any way,
Would anyone miss me?
