The truth is that I'm quite a sight
I even give my wife a fright

There was no force that these could tether
They both flowed from the Saviors heart
Compassion and power you cannot part

For only He can re-arrange
Only He can change the heart
And make all foolishness depart

He laid at the pool of Bethesda
Amongst all the impotent throng
No hope of his ever receiving
Of that which he'd waited so long
But then came the infinite Jesus
So full fo compassion was He
He spoke but a word of deliverance
And he that was bound was made free
It matters not how long the waiting
What matters is what He can do
And all of your deep disappointments
He'll turn into victory for you
