Feeling the rumble of creativity just below the surface,
letting it rise within, loving how it feels so warm and
enticing against this mind.

Awake, the whole world is beginning once again in a New
Year, happy and looking forward to a better year in many
ways, hopefully.
...

Looking outside a window, seeing the sun shining brightly,
tempting this mind to go and let it warm the being from
the inside out.
...

Feeling all the sorrow, sadness, pain, sacrifice and hardship
gone through in the year 2018, now beginning another new year,
finding out that it's more of the same once again.
...

Thoughts rolling about in this poetical mind as feelings and
emotions escape into intellect, causing tears to fall silently
within, touching heart, spirit and soul.

Looking around, cars going down the streets, people in them
going to their destinations, usually in a hurry, some making
it alright, others not so lucky, being hurt or dying.
...

Walking down sidewalks of reminiscence, thinking of all that
has passed through the years, not wanting people that are
loved to die, wishing to be with them forever.
...

Mind picking and choosing thoughts, ideas and concepts to put
into many poems in this lifetime, just like being a child on
shore, watching waves rise and fall.
...

Wondering if this world is a giant mistake while writing about
it incessantly, seeking to discover the unexplainable, wanting
it all to be explained.
...

Every night lying in bed, thinking, finding conclusions,
possibilities and answers to questions of this entire
lifetime.
...
