My Soul

A disease with no cure
Could they be sure
They kept me locked up in this place
where my brain is erased from a past life
will I come through the other side

The ones who helped are the ones who betrayed
neglect of a life sunk into the abyss
now i am so pissed
Im dying and bleeding out
The toxins that sunk so deep

After all this time
Breaking free from this curse
It couldn't be any worse
reached out from my grave
For the life I've been depraved
At last freedom in my sight

Here I am, whole again
I dust myself off
Walk away and never to look behind
They took my life but not my soul
Now they will be crippled and die alone
