the land ruled by Sultans,

Through his master's eyes,
he saw his world.
Through his master's voice,
he welcomed his own peril.

Hindustan

the land ruled by Sultans,
was not very difficult to find.
coz, it was one of it's own kind.

That time America was unknown,
Australia was being sown.
Europe was still dark,
desperately, needed a spark.

Africa was wild,
was thought to be the birthplace of first human child.
Asia was at it's peak,
other's used to speak.
Asia is standing at the golden bird's beak.

Other's said, 'Everything was made from water',
but we knew the things that made water.
Our army was so huge,
Even Alexander lost his fuse.

Then foreigners came from distant land,
settled here with their whole band.
And today I am writing my country's 'dastan',
which has been titled as 'Hindustan'.
