Rachel Bronte Poems

Confusion stands firm as scars
like the crooked cobbled streets
anxiety loud as rain hitting hard
Round this Corner our eyes may meet
...

Fragile like a dandelion blowing in the wind
You might tell me that I'm pretty
But that don't mean a thing
Wandering heart left a mess of colour that I can't erase
...

It all looks so pretty when the snow starts to fall
But it soon becomes dirty, trampled and cold
I hand you my heart and with it my all
Then I wake up lonely, buried from your hold
...

They were both so young
When they met for the first time
Loving was easy
Though there were dark clouds
...

Laura's York

Confusion stands firm as scars
like the crooked cobbled streets
anxiety loud as rain hitting hard
Round this Corner our eyes may meet

The change of weather as of heart
Like the varied Snow flakes - often cold
As unmovable as the Minster art
So peculiar but timelessly bold

The stone bridge separates our kindred souls
As your will refused to bear the climb
The easterly winds remind through the cold
That your heart was not for mine

Whilst I leave behind the historical walls
You too may become something of past
The warming sun reminds through the dull
Thunder storms never last
