Once upon a time there was a Blue Jay
Its was at the very tip of a tall tree so high up where I could hardly see
This bird reminded me of someone that I now hold close to me
I wish that everyone could see how much this person means to me.

I can admit that I have been a mess up i n the past
But seeing myself mature is showing me I can't be last
Always gotta be at the top
Stumbling to the bottom is irrelevant

There is a land with areas full of gun play n others where its all just silent
Awhole squadron gone except for one soldier that has to be silent
He has been in war with these ppl for 3 yrs n was shocked to watch them all die
Doesn't kno wat to do if he should run, take charge, or commit suicide

Have u ever had that time when u thought it was your only chance
That's how I feel bout u n I can't let u past
U have became my present n sent my past feelings away from me
I can close my eyes n u can be the main figure that I see

I'm sry if I'm hurtin u I dnt mean to put this lifetime curse on u
All the hatred that u have inside u is building up like a fuse
Then out of nowhere the bomb starts ticking off
All this pain that u had just starts to blow up
