Rain

Rain seems purer than my life,
It falls like my lifeline;
Blunt as a mirror but sharp as a knife
Natural morphine amps up like adrenaline.

A walk in rain and I feel so strong
Feel empowered, like I'm the Lord of Storm.
A walk in rain and songs start being sung,
I forget myself and my introversion.

Rain'll lend me a shoulder to cry
In times of cascading sorrow and deluvial pain,
Mature to not be wry, still immaturely pry
For my pitter-pattering happiness will the rain

Rain will cage my storming rage
And defend my drizzling serenity
Because in my heart, it holds a sweet spot
Between badassery and simplicity.
