The Sounds Of Nature - Poem by Cecelia Weir

The Sounds Of Nature
O, tis so sweet.
Who am I
That would dare try to repeat
The lovliness of a tweet.
The flutter of its wings
The tiny cute prints
Of a little birds feet.

The Sounds of Nature
O, how beautiful yet afar.
Are raindrops against the windshield
Of a still parked car.
Each little drip dropp runs
Caressing the mind so intensely
Seemingly just to play a part
Or perhaps for the fun of it.

O, The Sounds Of Nature
Sometimes deeply doth groan.
When by an unwillingly nature
One's heart decides to roam.
How lovely is a weep
Who does understand the moan.
When its all part of nature
But who wants to be left alone.

    The Sounds of Nature

    I do enjoy
    my nature loves your nature
hence I do would love to pen
    some beauties I have spunned.

I love the dip of king fishers
into the green pool of pond
    divers of beautiful deligence
and then the spread of wings
    soaked with cool exuberance.

I love the black swan bird whose name I dont know
which like a giant warrior spreads across its wings
and sits upon the rock adjacent to the meadows
after a lovely plunge deep into the backwaters rich with fishes.

I love the woodpecker with gorgeous plumes
    skating above the coconut trees
the way they e mails in hoots
and eggs upon the hollowed tree tops.

I love the pit pat of rain drops upon the leaves
washing all dirt and dust, glistening sweet
I love the way after every night
    our garden looks delicately bright.

I love the mangoose, their pink eyes
their long tails rails with the following male
the way they go in groups like coaches of trains
beneath the trunk, come on my little ones.

I too love many things among nature
    the way clouds sail across
flowering and sailing past in full speed
when the wind takes them for a fast ride.

There are many many things I would like to share
the blade of grass, the blooms uncared their beauty
the smell of earth as rain drops kiss the core
the fragrance of dawn and fuelling emptiness of dusk.

Nice poem, thank you, what I wrote is under your inspiration.........bi (Report) Reply
