Hope - Poem by jodi right

Hope

Sigh not for there is hope
Doubt not because it is there
Just seek it
Let thy eye wander far
Just touch it
Let thy hands lay softly
Just live it
Let thy heart fill the cold
And conquer
Laugh in joy not in cruelness
Cry always but not in pain
Sing tunes for the far
And Dance for the near
Wonder not
Because hope never dies

I very much liked the phrase 'Sing tunes for the far / And dance for the near'. Like the other poems I haqve read so far, this one is very well structured. (Report) Reply

i find my poems are either image heavy or down to earth like this one, your writing is powerful (Report) Reply

There's a few minor things that need to be fixed aside from that this poem has a complete lack of creative imagery, which is something I struggle with myself but always advise others to include (Report) Reply
