Zelfmedelij

De vlinders uit mijn
buik gekropen
fladderend
en vlidderend
de luchtkleuren
bekliederend
tot mijn knieen
in het verdriet
door hen benijdt
zoals je ziet
slijt ik een dagje
kwijnend
in mijn
zelfmedelij
verdwijnend
op de hei
verborgen
in mijn zorgen
betreur ik morgen
en zij mij.

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
