Yummy Mummy

When you say acting our age
Witch day do want that to be;
And if we had met when we were
Younger how much younger?
I hope you don’t mean when you was sixteen
Cause I would have only have been eight or 7’
As strange as that is, you could have been my mummy
Surly you don’t mean that do you! !
And I bet you would have been proud to have my ring
But being FAB is still nice; it cut down on the draft
In the winter time,
And if you are crying for what could have been its
Never too late, you might get a small ring one day
(maybe)
IT is some TIME sad for me
But lonelynn’ess would be
If you wasn’t in my life
XXX
Night night babe
I love you

poet James Whitcomb Riley

There! little girl; don't cry!
They have broken your doll, I know;
And your tea-set blue,
And your play-house, too,
Are things of the long ago;
