Youth And Age Poem by Suresh Dogra

Youth And Age

Rating: 5.0

Ours is a country for the old
Where young touch their feet
Wish to shape in their mould
Learn from them manners sweet

An aged man is a colossus
Who has seen and known life
Stands huge like an omnibus
Not muddled by youth's strife

The young in one another's arms
Are clients of a charming face
The heart of the old slowly warms
To plumb deep down the surface
