Your Will Be Done Poem by PINONDANG SITUMEANG

Your Will Be Done

A moment of dark sunset
Cold deep down to the bones
Pulse tickling slowly
Is this the end of the time

Just like fless boneless
Stare blank eyes
Humming voices
Is this the end of the tunnel

Pipes attached in every parts
Monitor up and down sharply
Red lamps blinks repeatly
Is this the last breath

Never ever hopeless
Fingers hold tight prayer
Don't ever loose faith
Your will be done

Such a heart wrenching, bone tiring experience when sitting by the bedside of a loved one just waiting for that last breath to be exhaled. Been there too many times and each one who leaves us takes a little piece of our soul along with them on their next journey. Nice poem to ponder upon.
