Your Mirror Poem by tara mahdavi

Your Mirror

Rating: 5.0

a cat talked to me today
wondering in the street
hungry, thirsty
tiny and tired
complaining in a slow voice
talking begging with that innocent eyes
I'm abandon here
in this hell, this valley
can't we find each other?
humans
what are you doing
don't you ever look at me
don't you see yourself
I didn't find any body
no softness no tender
do you know my pain
what is important more than hunger
to see me
to see yourself
to change this world
before it's too late.
