Your Memory. Poem by Honny Zubedi

Your Memory.

Rating: 5.0

What a strange feeling,
I am feeling today.
It so seems that,
All in the world,
In their surroundings,
With their possessions,
Are happy, are joyous,
As they never were before,
The flower laden trees,
Enjoying their spring,
Birds singing happily,
Clinging to their mates,
Grass and leaves looking fresh,
In the beautiful spring sunshine,
Everybody seems so alive,
And unaware of their fate.

I am also happy and I am also alive,
With my sad surroundings,
And I enjoy by the torturing memory,
Recalling the moments spent with you,
I am also happy,
I am also joyous,
Surrounded by your thoughts,
Your memory my only possession.
